KVKK Clarification Text

This Clarification Text has been prepared in accordance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK") to inform you, as "Awards Of Me" (hereinafter referred to as "Organization"), in our capacity as Data Controller, regarding your personal data collected through our application form.

1. Data Controller

Your personal data will be processed by the "Awards Of Me" Organization as the Data Controller within the scope explained below.

2. Your Personal Data Processed and Processing Purposes

Your personal data collected through your application form:

• Identity Data: Your Name, Surname, T.C. Identity Number.
• Contact Data: Your E-mail address, Phone number.
• Visual Data: Your uploaded profile photo.
• Financial Data: Information on the payment receipt (Limited to payment confirmation purposes).
• Professional Data: Category and position information you applied for.

This data will be processed limited to the following purposes:

• Receiving, managing, and completing your application process.
• Verification of your identity (TCKN) and confirmation of your payment (Receipt).
• Communicating with you regarding your application process and voting.
• Publishing on public platforms (website, social media) for the creation of candidate lists, presentation to the jury, and public voting (Name Surname, Photo, Category).
• Carrying out the promotion and announcement activities of the event.
• Fulfillment of legal obligations.

3. Method and Legal Reason for Personal Data Collection

Your personal data is collected electronically and by automatic methods through the application form you fill out via the "awardsofme.com" address.

Your data is processed based on legal reasons pursuant to KVKK Art. 5/2; (c) it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (acceptance of application conditions), (ç) it is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation, and (f) it is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller (organization and execution of the event), provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject. Your data to be disclosed to the public, such as your profile photo, is evaluated within the scope of legitimate interest in line with your will to participate in the event.

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with the following for the purposes stated above:

• With Jury Members for the execution of the evaluation process,
• With the Public for public voting and promotion purposes (Only Name Surname, Photo, and Category information),
• With Server and Infrastructure Providers for hosting systems,
• With Authorized Public Institutions and Organizations in necessary cases, in line with legal requests.

5. Your Rights as Data Subject (KVKK Article 11)

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• To learn whether personal data is processed,
• To request information if personal data has been processed,
• To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
• To request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
• To request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK,
• To request notification of the transactions made pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
• To object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• To demand the compensation of the damage in case of damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.
